We visited based upon the reviews and we're not disappointed. Generous portions, cold beer, friendly staff, and lots of locals. Check out my pic of the fish tacos...they were awesome!

Love this place! When you want a totally stress free experience, come here. The servers at the bar are very friendly and the food and prices are great! We have been coming here for the last couple of years. We had an order of Jalapeño Poppers and I had the wings with medium spice. The poppers have a great sauce and the wings are crispy the way I like them. My husband had the Shrimp Po boy and he really enjoyed it overflowing with shrimp! I love the fact that the wine comes in little bottles, so you always know it's fresh and hasn't been sitting behind the bar. I say stress free because they have a large bar and so you don't have to wait for wait staff to take your order or refill. There's a great view of the canal with the boats going by! Great place!

$2 beer, the low key red is amazing. Great tiki burger with grilled pineapple. Right on the canal with a great atmosphere.

Food was disappointing. Hoping the fish would be fresh but tasted like it had been frozen. Staff was nice. Fish on salad was way over seasoned. Was hoping for better fish from a restaurant on an island by the water. Won't go back.

Just a wonderful place to boat or drive to, enjoy an ice cold bevvie, meet nice folks and have some good grub. The owners know how to make you feel welcome! Great music too!

Newer expanded menu....mainly sandwiches and fried baskets. Now also has fried pickles! Most of the items on the menu are less than $10. Draft domestics are $1.75 (getting expensive for Pine Island....).

Complete, total relaxation! After 1/2 a beer and 15 minutes of sitting in the sun listening to music, our pulses were down to about 12. Friendly staff, and wonderful atmosphere. The food is solid, not really five star -- but who cares! (remember, I'm totally relaxed now). The fish tacos were good, as well as the burger -- stay clear of the shrimp taco (too much breading). If you are in the south part of Pine Island and want a relaxing cold beer, stop here. Good for kids and boat access.

Had a fun 'sunset' experience here recently..the place was probably700 yards from our motel. We noticed there was no front entrance so we walked around the back and Lo and Behold! A Tiki Bar overlooking one of many St, James City's canals. The only thing missing was Jimmy Buffet! The waitress was quite cool and suggested a few things from the menu. we both had the fish sandwich with slaw on the side and an order of fries..pretty filling. There were only a handful of other people there and soon it was just me and my friend, the waitress and the owner. He said they decided to just keep the front of the restaurant (indoors) closed for now but he wants to open it up for parties/private events. Nice local flavor and good folks!

Not 5-star fancy, but 5-star for what it is: a *great* little ultra-casual neighborhood beer & wine bar (think Barefoot, not Chateau Mouton-Rothschild) with always yummy fish tacos and sammies and always friendly service. The atmosphere is SW Florida all the way. As the other reviewer mentioned, that means biting bugs mercilessly harshin' yer mellow, man. Bartender to the rescue! Maybe because the skeeters and no-see-ems have been particularly HORRIBLE in the area this year, she offered us a utility tote brimming with every bug repellent under the sun. I used two. (If you've been to SW Florida, you get it.) The only improvement I could conceive of for this place would be full bar service; after all, what better atmosphere could an icy margarita ask for?

Good ice cold drinks. Old florida atmosphere. Barfood is OK. Service is very friendly!

10/4/11.This is my first time in seven years back on the island since my mother-in-law died. I couldn't help but notice all the new places to eat: Carraba's, Bonefish Grill, Wendy's andBob Eans. We have all of these in Columbus, Ohio. In fact, Wendy's and Bob Eevans are headquartered there. What I wantinarestaerantis the "Real Florida" experience. I found it atWoody's and tonight at the Low Key Tiki. Friendly service, great crowd, cold beer, good food- (hamburgers) and a five-star atmosphere. this is it- Florida?!
